ONLINE SYSTEM AT THE MASTER’S OFFICE FOR DECEASED ESTATES
The Master of the High Court is moving towards online systems for deceased estate administration. An Online System has been rolled out for the registration of a death at the Master of the High Court and applications for letters of executorship or letters of authority. Further services will also go online in the future.
The Master also now recognises online advertisements for the legal notices/advertisements that must be placed during the course of the deceased estate administration process. The online placement is however subject to certain legal requirements and the adverts must be accessible for free by members of the public.
