Tracey Mouton – Managing Director
Tracey Mouton completed her tertiary education at the former University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela University), where she graduated in 2003 with a B Comm degree in Accounting and a LLB, which was awarded cum laude.
She started her career at Goldberg & de Villiers Inc. as an articled clerk. She thereafter joined a reputable Port Elizabeth based law firm and subsequently was a legal adviser at an Employers’ organisation, during which time she harnessed her skills in Labour Law related matters.
She rejoined the Goldberg & de Villiers Inc. family in August 2012.

- Skilled in negotiations, strike management, drafting of HR policies, contracts and commercial documentation.
- Experienced litigator at the CCMA, relevant bargaining Council and Labour Court.
- Experienced in conducting and facilitating IR related training courses.
- Thorough knowledge of all labour legislation such as the Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Skills Development Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Tracey has extensive experience in all aspects pertaining to Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
This includes:
- Chairing of disciplinary enquiries;
- Conducting forensic audits
- Investigating and acting as Initiator for Disciplinary enquiries;
- Negotiations and strike management;
- Drafting of HR policies, contracts and commercial documentation;
- Litigating in the CCMA, relevant bargaining councils and the Labour Court;
- Employment equity implementation and compliance
- Facilitation and Development of IR related training courses.
Tracey Mouton has worked in conjunction with Local Municipalities, Municipal entities and State owned organisations as well as private companies pertaining to all matters relating to Human Resources and Industrial Relations, including but not limited to Arbitrations at the CCMA and relevant Bargaining Council and representation at the Labour Court.
Tracey Mouton has dealt with cases involving investigating and taking disciplinary action against senior management. Given the sensitive nature of these matters and confidentiality, the details thereof are not capable of being shared.
Tracey Mouton has attended to numerous Arbitrations and Labour Court reviews on behalf of clients. Further to the aforesaid, Tracey Mouton has represented the various clients in high level and sensitive disciplinary processes and conducted forensic investigations into allegations of fraud.

Our labour lawyers are skilled in negotiations, drafting of Human Resource Policies, Employment Equity Policies, Employment Contracts and documentation. We are also experienced in litigation in the CCMA and relevant bargaining councils where we represent clients at conciliation and arbitration procedures as well as litigation in the Labour Court.
